As we were starting our Quarry Trail hike we noticed a Hawk family above us, there were three of them and then one dropped something and it landed on the ground about twenty feet away from us, we walked over to see what it was and found a Rabbit that was their lunch, and as we watched them we were thinking the Mom and Dad could have been teaching a young one about getting its food, but that is just a guess. In the top picture if you look close you can see the Rabbit in the Hawks talons.
